Mr Cope is was a great communicator before my hip replacement, during and after. I was mobile 12 hours after my opp and pain killer free within 7 days. The operation changed my life now being pain-free. I will be forever grateful for the care I received from all the staff at Fulwood Hall Hospital.

hip replacement 9th April 2021 I'am submitting this review to thank Mr Cope and his brilliant theatre team. for my procedure, what a difference after only 6 weeks no pain great feeling. what a innovative forward thinking surgeon Mr cope is " YOU THE MAN " I would also like to thank every member of staff at Renacres hospital for there excellent care and attention to detail. From the first pre- op consultation through to my first post op appointment Mr Cope has been professional, helpful and curtious in all aspects of my care from the original diagnosis of my knee problem, explaining the procedure and timescales needed for full recovery, Mr Cope and all the staff at Fulwood Hall area a credit to the profession and I would not hesitate in recommending Mr Cope to anyone in need of his services

I had a total hip replacement in February 2021 by Mr Marcus Cope. From my first visit to Renacres I have been very satisfied with all of my treatment. Mr Cope kept me informed on all aspects of my operation and likewise after treatment. I was encouraged to ask questions if I was worried about any of the procedures. The medical team were all excellent and made the whole experience as painless as was possible.

I am a high volume hip and knee replacement surgeon, performing about 500 hips and knees a year. I have previously worked at Southport and Ormskirk DGH from 2007 to 2017 and was the Clinical Director for the last three years.
I now work full time in the private sector seeing NHS (choose and book patients) and private patients. My time is split between two hospitals in the Ramsay group.
I can be seen at Renacres Hall Hospital (Ormskirk and Southport) and Fulwood Hall Hospital (Preston).
